Create a blank res.bin in the installation folder[citation needed]
  1. Delete res.bin in the installation folder.
  2. Create a new empty text document.
  3. Save the blank document as res.bin in the installation folder.
  4. Right click the new blank res.bin and click properties.
  5. Check the 'Read-only' box and click okay.
